Silvia Graves - Business Immigration, Partner

Silvia Graves has been practicing immigration law exclusively in Houston, Texas for 27 years. Mrs. Graves has received an AV Peer Rating from Martindale & Hubbell, the highest possible rating in both Legal Ability and Ethical Standards, for the last 10 years. She is a frequent speaker at a number of AILA, NAFSA, Rice University, and Houston Bar Association conferences on consular practice and other immigration issues.

  • Chair of the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA), Texas Chapter (2001-2002).
  • Liaison between the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA) and the Department of Homeland Security, USCIS in Houston, Texas, (1995 to 1998; and 2007 to 2009).

Indrani Purkayastha McCreary – Senior Attorney

Indrani McCreary is a senior attorney at Graves & Graves, P.C., where her practice consists of research, study and counsel on immigration law issues with a focus on business and family based nonimmigrant and immigrant visas. Mrs. McCreary prepares and files nonimmigrant and immigrant employment and family based visa petitions with the U.S. Citizenship & Immigration Services and U.S. Consulates abroad. She represents clients at employment based and family based adjustment interviews at Immigration Services and prepares and files appeals to denials of visa petitions and waivers for inadmissibility. She also researches and responds to requests for evidence issued by U.S. Citizenship & Immigration Services.

Leena Bhasin- Contract Attorney

Leena Bhasin is an attorney whose primary focus includes general civil litigation, Immigration, Family and Probate. Ms. Bhasin tries cases from inception to trial and beyond, including judgment enforcement and she handles all types of civil litigation cases including debt collection lawsuits. She also works family cases including custody modifications, adoption, child support enforcement and defense, CPS cases and paternity adjudications. She probates wills and defends contests to wills in court and also drafts and negotiates contracts and wills. Ms. Bhasin also handles misdemeanors and class C felonies. In the field of Immigration law she handles all types of immigration cases including: family based and employment based green card applications, non-immigrant visas, naturalization application, and asylum and deportation cases including cancellation of removal and withholding of removal .

Adolph Martin Suarez - Associate Attorney

Adolph is a very skilled litigation attorney. He is responsible for immigration litigation cases at Graves and Graves, P.C. He has successfully represented clients in court cases involving adjustments of status with waivers, cancellations of removal (42A/B), NACARA, TPS, and withholding of removal. He prepares and files Motions to Reopen and Reconsider, Appeals to the Board of Immigration Appeals and the Administrative Appeals Unit, Legal Briefs, Responses to Request for Additional Evidence, and Waiver Applications.

Adolph represents our clients with Orders of Supervision and Deferred Action. Further, he prepares applications for Investor Visas or Extensions of Investor Status Applications with the USCIS and Consular Posts abroad.

Adolph has experience representing clients in divorce and personal injury proceedings.
